Where the strats come from

We study the best Siege content we can find (site guides, pro matches, team stratbooks), rewrite each plan in our own words, check it against the current season and credit the creators on every strat. The tactics are theirs; see every source.

Plans we haven't checked in game yet are marked Rough read. Win rates and ratings only count real players: a plan says New until people report rounds on it.

Questions

How the numbers work first, then bans, the overlay and the rest.

Where do these strats come from?
Two places. Players write their own. And we write up the best community guides (YouTube site guides, pro VODs, strat sites) in our own words, check them against the current season, and credit the original creator on the strat.
What does the win % mean?
After a round, anyone who ran the strat taps We won or We lost. That's the %, from real players only. Until someone reports, a plan says New; under 20 rounds the % is greyed out.
What if one of our operators is banned?
Enter the bans once per round on the map page (or tap ⊘ on an operator). Every strat on that map swaps in each slot's backup and hands them the banned operator's steps. Strats with a slot nobody can fill drop to the bottom. Bans stack for the half and clear when you swap sides.
What's the tick next to a name?
A creator (gold) or pro (red) we checked by hand. Every card shows who a plan comes from: their photo, name and rank (ranks are self-reported; there's no public Siege stats API). Make Siege content? Get verified from the Creators page.
Is it free?
Yes. No account needed to use it. An account only syncs your stratbook and puts your name in squad rooms.
Can the overlay get me banned?
The overlay is a normal browser window: it never reads or touches the game, the same as having the site open on a second screen. The coming Overwolf version will only use Overwolf's approved game events.
I play on console.
Open the Match view on your phone: your operator, your walls and your steps, one screen.
Can I add my own strats?
Yes: Write a strat (top right). It takes about ten taps, and it fills in jobs and kits from our plans for you to change.
Is this official?
No. Siege Strats is fan-made and not affiliated with Ubisoft. Rainbow Six Siege, its maps, operators and artwork are © Ubisoft Entertainment.
